Good Morning. Below is just 1 of the many thank you’s the Frances Foundation received following yesterday’s awesome picnic & SBT.
IT WAS AN AMAZING DAY. The sunshine was brilliant and so were the thousands of smiles.

Please join me in thanking the more than 50 volunteers who made this day possible as well as all of the teams, players, & fans. Capt. Don Sutton arrived for duty at the park at 5:55 am.! ; and was 1 if last volunteers to leave.
Our photographers took tons of photos but attached are just a couple that I  have……many more to be posted on our facebook page & website.
Following the national  anthem sung by warrior McKenzy & God Bless America sung by Sean Hanlon from the Holmdel Kiwanis, we recognized the picnic’s namesake Daniel R. Shalloo, Sr. ( 1934-2007), a decorated US Marine and FF trustee emeritus.
We also thanked Monmouth County Sheriff Shaun Golden and Monmouth County Freeholder President Tom Arnone for their long time generous support.

The highlight of the day was the presentation of our gifts to our attending angels’ & pediatric cancer warriors families. During the last month the Frances Foundation has delivered approx. $15,000.00 in smiles and assistance to our numerous families.
and we have our upcoming bus trip to see the Mets on Wed. August 7th.

Our softball tournament was as exciting as ever. I umped a couple of games and saw some tape measure monster home runs and outstanding running catches in the outfield, as well as many niffy picks of hot shots by infielders.
Hats off to all of our teams, including the Rainbow Foundation,  Cookies Crumblers, Team Jackson Sharkey, Maggipalooza, Access Integration Systems , the Angels, Union Beach Fire Department, Team Jake-Madi-Gwennie, the Mon. Cty. Sheriff’s Department, Mya/IFF…..
Lots of 1 run games decided late including a thriller championship game won by the Champions Team Mya against the Sheriff’s Department 2-1.

Thanks as well to our sister charities Kick Cancer Overboard and the Dean Michael Clarizio Cancer Foundation for attending and for your wonderful support.

All enjoyed juicy cheeseburgers, hot dogs, pizza, pulled pork sliders, mac & cheese, potato & macaroni salad ( THANK YOU CRACKED OLIVE + TEXAS ROADHOUSE) ,  watermelon, snow cones, fruit, popcorn, cold beverages, arts & crafts, face painting, great dj music, and of course the water spray park & games.  Quite a fun day.

Window Washer, iPlay America and 'be like Jake' EVENTS

 Dear All Frances Foundation Friends:

Next Sunday, March 24th  is our IPLAY AMERICA Food, Rides, & Games morning at NJ's best indoor boardwalk. Please make plans to join our warriors and their families for a delicious breakfast buffet, cupcakes galore, and lots of fun (CLICK here for Tickets).  Please share with your families and friends. LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING YOUR SMILE AT IPLAY ON NEXT SUNDAY !!

Our outstanding “ be like jake” team ( honoring our Angel Jake the Tank’s legacy) is holding a fundraiser to benefit pediatric cancer research at CHOP. It is being held at Our House Restaurant in Farmingdale, NJ on Friday night, April 12th. See attached flyer to purchase tickets.  It would be great to see you there too!  J

The FF loves to put smiles on the faces of our children fighting cancer. Take a minute to enjoy the attached awesome video of the window washer making those beautiful smiles Just like in the video, your support helps us deliver these inspiring smiles.

As a proud Irishman I am  embarrassed to admit that I never knew the difference between 3 leaf ☘️ and the rarer4 leafclovers. Do you? The 3 leaves ☘️stand for HOPE, FAITH & LOVE. The 4th leaf stands for GOOD LUCK. May all of our warriors and you and your families have nothing but fields of 4 leaf covers in front of you. . Tomorrow everyone is IRISH. Happy St. Patrick's Day

GOD BLESS YOU for all that you do for our FF pediatric cancer families.

Sunday, March 24th: Frances Foundation iPlay America Event 2019

Good Morning,

In just 3 weeks, ON SUNDAY MORNING, MARCH 24TH,  the Frances Foundation will be hosting 1 of our most fun events of the year-----A DELICIOUS ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET BREAKFAST & THE BOARDWALK LIKE RIDES & GAMES at IPLAY AMERICA in Freehold.

I have a vivid memory of our pediatric cancer angel Logan Parker being dragged out of Iplay by his parents, crying and screaming, after a couple of hours of just pure fun, because he just didn’t want to leave. That showed us that kids of all ages just love this event---adults too !!

The Frances Foundation provides complimentary tickets to all of our pediatric cancer families; and for a $30 donation we welcome all of our supporters and friends to join us and EAT A HEARTY BREAKFAST ( eggs, french toast , bagels, cupcakes, & lots more) & enjoy the smiles and laughter. Maybe I will see you on the GO CARTS with your kids and grandkids !!!!!!

PLEASE PURCHASE TICKETS ON LINE ASAP BEFORE THE EVENT.

Last FF Update of 2018

Good Afternoon. Yesterday the FF made a $5,000.00 donation to our sister charity Kick Cancer Overboard( KCO). Over the years KCO has sent numerous FF warriors and their families on fully comped week long cruises to Bermuda.

Attached are photos of Warrior Tony "Superman " S. and his family , and Angel Mikey R's family; as both of these families were surprised with gifted cruises at yesterday's KCO Rock-it concert event. Tony spent almost the entire 2018 calendar year at CHOP. The surprised cruise to the R. family was made possible by the donations and efforts from Angel Jake the Tank Honig's family. The KCO cruise to Bermuda has a special wonderful place in the Honig's hearts.

In 2018, the FF gave more smiles and financial assistance to our warriors and their families than any prior year, more than $320, 000.00 . Our 2018 gifts went to about 100 FF pediatric cancer families, as well as to numerous additional warriors and their siblings thru gifts to our sister charities. Since our inception, the FF has assisted hundreds of pediatric cancer families ( more than 450) with smiles and assistance totaling about $2.4 million. Every dollar gifted is meaningful & resulted from your commitment to our FF mission. I sincerely thank each and every one of you for all that you do for our pediatric cancer warriors and their families.

Wishing all a healthy, happy & beautiful 2019 !!!!!!!

Out of Control Hugs, Bob
